The Elmos Stepper Motor control ICs increase efficiency and give you full control over the application. Furthermore Elmos offers unique features like stall detection: During the operation of a stepper motor, characteristic current and voltage profiles occur with each succeeding step, allowing a conclusion about the motor’s operating status. By recording and analyzing these signals, sensorless detection of a motor stall is possible. Elmos has the competence to integrate this function into ICs.
