Elmos Semiconductor AG in Dortmund welcomes 19 new apprentices and dual students for the training year 2019. As part of a two-day introduction, they got to know their trainers and the company better. Now they start in the departments of the Elmos with the subject-specific training. The new apprentices immediately noticed the international working environment with customers and employees from Europe, Asia and the USA.
"Elmos values a very good education in all areas. In the last five years alone, our trainees have once received the federal best, three times the land best and six times the very good honor from the IHK. This impressively demonstrates our high level of training, "says Holger Schienbein, Head of Human Resources at Elmos Semiconductor AG.

Elmos semiconductors are used where innovation is important. New developments are aimed at solving the challenges of future megatrends such as autonomous driving, electromobility / less CO2 and more safety, networking and comfort. More than 1,300 employees, around 850 of them at the headquarters in Dortmund, work daily to make mobility safer, more comfortable and more energy efficient.
